The assistant's system prompt is versioned here: versions are immutable, one is active at a time, and the chat resolves the active version at request time (falling back to the compiled-in default when none exists).

The assistant's system prompt is versioned: immutable versions behind an activation pointer.

  1. Save a new version with a visible change, e.g. "Always answer in exactly one sentence."
  2. Select a version to see a line diff against its predecessor, additions and removals highlighted.
  3. Click Activate, then ask the assistant anything: it resolves the active version within about a minute. Re-activate the old version to undo.
